Three days after a 13-year-old teen cycled over 300 km to meet his favourite YouTuber ‘Triggered Insaan’, he was reunited with his family. According to reports, the teen left his school earlier on Tuesday and cycled all the way from Patiala, Punjab to Delhi, covering a distance of over 300 km in three days. The enthusiastic fan was identified as 13-year-old Viresh Bhushan.
Viresh is a fan of Nischay Malhan, who is face behind the popular YouTube channel ‘Triggered Insaan;’ which has close to 17 million subscribers. Inspired by Nischay’s videos, 13-year-old Viresh decided to meet him and simply left his school one evening and cycled all the way to the national capital.
Little did the young fan know that Nischay was not in Delhi and was traveling in Dubai. Viresh’s concerned family meanwhile filed complaint with Patiala police, and told the police that the teen is a fan of Nischay and was looking forward to meeting him.
After Viresh went missing, his uncle took to Twitter and requested Nischay to amplify the cause. Later, Nischay aka Triggered Insaan took to Twitter and wrote – “This is serious, if anybody has any information, please contact the police or the undersigned. I’m not in Delhi and travelling in Dubai, without network, will keep posted about this however much I can.”
The Facts of the Matter
Celebrity and influencer fans come in all shapes, sizes and forms. These fans can go to lengths to get attention of the celebrity they adore, love and often worship. Recently, a 13-year-old teen in Punjab cycled over 300 km to meet his favourite YouTuber Nischay Malhan, who runs popular channel ‘Triggered Insaan’.
The young boy left for his school earlier on Tuesday and didn’t return. After his concerned family filed a complaint with the police and an investigation ensued, CCTV footage showed him wearing the school uniform, cycling to Delhi.

Punjab Police Reaches Out to Delhi Police
According to reports, the parents filed a complaint with the Punjab Police. As Nischay is a Delhi resident, the Punjab police reached out to Delhi police to find the boy.
An Indian Express report quoted DCP Usha Rangnani, saying, “The case was reported at Patiala’s Anaj Mandi police station and we were informed at Maurya Enclave police station about the same. Since the YouTuber lives in Pitampura, we deployed a team and started looking for the child.”
Missing Boy’s Uncle Gets Attention of ‘Triggered Insaan’
Meanwhile, Viresh’s uncle also took to Twitter and tagged Nischay Malhan in posts regarding the young boy. “My Nephew (Viresh Bhushan, Age-13) is missing He is missing since Oct 4th (Tuesday morning 7.30 am and he left his house in Patiyala to go to Preetampura Yesterday to meet YouTuber @TriggeredInsaan”, Viresh’s uncle tweeted.
Thanks to the power of social media, the missing boy’s uncle’s plight reached Nischay, who also took to Twitter and asked his followers to assist in finding the missing boy.

Nischay in his tweet also mentioned that he is isn’t in Delhi and is traveling in Dubai.

Boy Reunited with Family
Soon, the Delhi police started looking for any other routes Viresh could’ve taken in his bid to meet his favourite YouTuber. Eventually, the 13-year-old fan was found in Pitampura district park. An Indian Express report Viresh’s grandfather saying, “I am thankful to the police staff…They searched for my grandson all night. They promised me they would find my grandson and they did. I have no words to convey my thanks.”
