On Saturday morning, the residents of Yavatmal and Buldhana districts in Maharashtra were shocked to hear about a tragic incident in which 25 passengers travelling in a bus from Yavatmal to Pune on the Samruddhi Mahamarg Expressway, lost their lives after their bus caught fire. According to Buldhana Police, a total of 33 passengers were onboard the bus, out of which 25 people lost their lives and 8 passengers were injured in the incident; while the driver survived. The driver remarked that the bus overturned after one of the wheels suddenly burst and caused a fire that subsequently engulfed the whole bus in flames.
