The 2nd iReel Awards 2019 were held on 23rd September, Tuesday Night at Mumbai’s JW Marriott. The event witnessed a surprising list of winners bagging the awards for being bast one categorized amongst other nominees.

The most hyped Sacred Games Season 2 was not after all proven to be that impressive to the critics. Although Delhi Crime was able to bag a handful of awards from the famished night. It is a Netflix series based on the terrifying gang rape case of Nirbhaya from 2012 & events and investigations that followed.

Well, above from all the struggles of becoming the best, our beloved Kaleen Bhaiya AKA Pankaj Tripathi bagged the award of ‘Best Actor’ for his iconic ‘Bahubali’ role in Mirzapur (Amazon Prime). Not only him but his son from the show ‘Munna Bhaiya’ AKA Divyendu Sharma became the winner of Best Supporting Actor (Male) for his role in Mirzapur.

Coming on to the Comedy, Mithali Palkar & Dhruv Sehgal starring ‘Little Things 2’ by Dice Media became the best comedy show and won awards for Best Actress Comedy and Best Comedy show trophies.

Netflix’s favourite lady Radhika Apte was honoured with the Breakthrough ‘Artist of the Year Award’ for her iconic performances in the many Netflix shows.
