The Sonu Sood – AAP – IT Survey Connnection
Sood, who’s often in news for his massive philanthropic gestures, earlier last month made the buzz for a different reason. The actor announced that he will be joining forces with the Aam Aadmi Party by being the brand ambassador of the party’s flagship mentorship programme.
For about a year, people were speculating whether or not Sood is using his philantropic venture as a platform to jump into politics. When he announced that he will be joining forces with AAP, it became clear that his entry into the political landscape is not so far.
However, the actor went on to quash such rumours by claiming that he has no plans of venturing into politics. “As of now, we have not discussed anything political because this issue (education and mentorship) is even bigger than that and this is above all,” he said, as quoted by News18. Delhi CM and AAP leader Kejriwal also reiterated Sood’s notion.
While Sood pointed out to not joining politics, him joining AAP and now facing an I-T department ‘survey’ paints an interesting picture.
