2. Ajeeb Dastan Hai Yeh, Dil Apna Aur Preet Parai

3. Chalte Chalte, Pakeezah

4. Aey Mere Watan Ke Logon

It was written by poet Pradeep and tuned by C. Ramachandra as a tribute to Indian forces who battled against China in the 1962 warfare.

The crowd was taken to tears by Lata’s performance in the National Stadium in New Delhi on Republic Day in 1963, which was witnessed by President S. Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.

5. Piya Tose Naina, Guide

The song was made prominent by Waheeda Rehman and Dev Anand, who starred in the 1965 romance play Guide. It is still considered to be one of Bollywood’s finest profound romance melodies.

6. Mera Saaya Saath Hoga, Mera Saaya

‘Mera Saaya Saath Hoga,’ sung by Lata Mangeshkar, is a significant moment in the 1966 iconic movie ‘Mera Saaya,’ featuring Sunil Dutt and Sadhana, and portrays a lifelong bond between two individuals.

7. Lag Jaa Gale, Woh Kaun Thi

8. Tujhe Dekha To Yeh Jana, DDLJ

This is a tune that will stick with you. When DDLJ was released, the song “Tujhe Dekha Toh yeh Jana,” recorded by Kumar Sanu and Lata Mangeshkar, became an overnight hit. Nobody guessed that this song and movie would become classic masterpieces of cinematic art.

9. Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, KKKG

This film, which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, and Kareena Kapoor, was a resounding blockbuster. Lata Ji recorded the title track, which is, obviously, heart-touching.

This classic, which featured Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Hema Malini and  Amitabh Bachchan was a massive hit. Lata Ji and Roop Kumar Rathore recorded the beautiful duet, which is, surely, a mesmerizing one.
