Often it happens that we don’t pick up learning a skill or something that our heart desires because of our age. “I think I’m too old for this” and “I think I’ll do this when I get older”, are two common phrases. But a Madhya Pradesh based woman has broken all such shackles and is doing something that her heart desires.

On September 24, 90-year-old Resham Bai Tanwar who resides in the state’s Bilawali region suddenly became an icon. The reason? A video of hers started trending where she could be seen driving a Maruti 800 car as if she had always known how to drive.

The video, which has so far been viewed 26 thousand times and has garnered over 700 likes, had a caption which told her story. According to the caption, the 90-year-old elderly learnt how to drive at her age and had now taken to highway to display her skills.

“Grandmother has inspired all of us that there is no age bar in fulfilling our interest. No matter how old you are, you should have the passion to live life!”, CM Chauhan tweeted.

After becoming Internet’s new sensation, Resham Bai Tanwar was interviewed by news agency ANI. In her interview, she said that she learnt how to drive as her daughters and daughter-in-law also knew the life skill.

She further added that not only does she love driving, but she has driven cars as well as tractors after learning how to drive.
