In a hair-raising incident reported from Australia, a 55-year-old man who was pronounced dead, may have been alive when sent to morgue, and even tried to get out of the body bag, doctors claim. The shocking incident of medical negligence was reported from Rockingham hospital in Perth, Australia. As per the local coroner’s court, the incident is currently under investigation.
According to reports, the 55-year-old man was identified as dead earlier on September 5 and was subsequently taken to the morgue. The man’s death certificate, which is supposed to be issued the same day, was issued the next day with a startling revelation.
The doctor who issued the certificate, claimed that they found signs that the patient may have been alive when he was being taken to the morgue. As per reports, the “deceased’s” body was kept in the resting position in the morgue with his eyes closed, in a clean gown. However, the doctors found blood on the gown, and found the body lying in a different position than the staff’s description.
As per local media, the man’s death certificate was made on September 6, but hospital officials backdated it to September 5. Further, the doctors involved left the hospital, and local media is claiming that the hospital is covering the incident.
The Facts of the Matter
A hospital in Perth, Australia, is currently under public scrutiny after its doctors sent a man to the morgue, who may have been alive. The incident occurred earlier in September this year, only to be picked up by local media recently. The hospital in question is Rockingham Hospital, Perth.

Doctor Makes Startling Discovery
During this time, the doctor made a startling discovery. The doctor found fresh blood on the man’s gown from a tear on one of his arms. The man’s eyes were also open, and his limbs were in a different position. Further the man’s body bag was unzipped.

Subsequently, the incident was taken into investigation. In a report, the doctor who made the startling discovery noted – “I believe the frank blood from a new skin tear, arm position and eye signs were inconsistent with a person who was post-mortem on arrival at the morgue.”

Meanwhile, when a funeral director questioned the hospital about the date on the death certificate, the doctor was asked by the hospital to backdate it from September 6 to September 5.
