The administration of Ladakh’s Leh district has instructed the shutdown of all schools after at least 56 students from the 3-Idiots Bollywood fame movie school (Rancho School) tested positive for COVID-19. The students have already been isolated from the rest and quarantined.
Shrikant Balasaheb Suse, Deputy Commissioner of Leh, has immediately ordered that all government and private schools, along with residential hostels, in Leh stay sealed for 15 days, from September 18 to October 2, in light of findings of new COVID-19 instances in schools and the concern of public health and safety. Following that, the condition will be reviewed.
The appearance of travelers showing up in Leh has also risen, with 2025 travelers being scanned at the KBR airport yesterday. 514 travelers entering by road were scanned at the Khaltse and 375 at the Upshi checkpoints.

Latest Corona Updates for Leh and Kargil
According to a media update issued by the UT Ladakh directorate of health services on Friday, 70 COVID positive sample reports have been obtained from Leh and one COVID positive sample report from Kargil.

School Campus Declared As Containment Zone
