After the Air India ‘pee-gate’, two drunk passengers are being reported of harassing air hostess and attacking pilot aboard the Delhi-Patna IndiGo flight. According to a Free Press report, the incident took place earlier on Sunday evening when IndiGo flight 6E-6383 was flying from the national capital to Bihar capital Patna. The two accused men are reportedly held for creating ruckus.

According to reports, earlier on Sunday, two drunk passengers from Bihar started creating ruckus on the flight. The passengers were drinking beer inside the plane and when confronted, chose to react in a poor manner. As per the Free Press report, the accused started harassing the flight attendant who was trying to intervene and pacify the situation. Further, when the captain was informed, the accused also ended up assaulting him.

As per the reports, the accused men had started drinking from the Delhi airport itself and as soon as the flight took the air, they started creating a ruckus, which obviously terrified the passengers inside the plane.

After the plane landed in Bihar, the pilot informed the airport authority and CISF about the entire incident, and the two accused were held. When held, the accused mentioned about associated with a political party and having close connections to the party president.

The Facts of the Matter

Lately, reports of unruly passengers are springing up like a can of worms that remained unopened till now. Earlier last week, a drunk Air India passenger was reported to have peed on a senior citizen female passenger midflight. Days after that incident was reported, an equally shocking incident was reported from Air India again, where another man, in a drunken state, peed on the blanket of a female passenger.

Although Air India has been trying to damage control the situation, issuing statements of apology, it seems another popular airline is in the eye of the controversial storm. This time, low-cost airline IndiGo is in the news. Reportedly, two drunk men harassed an IndiGo female attendant and attack the pilot.

Drunk Bihar Passengers Harass Flight Attendant

As per the reports, the incident pertains to the IndiGo flight which flew from the national capital to Patna, where two drunk passengers, reportedly from Bihar, started creating ruckus midflight. A Free Press report states that the passengers also sexually harassed the flight attendant in an inebriated state. Further, when the pilot was informed and he tried to intervene, they attacked the pilot as well.

The incident took place when the Delhi flight reached Patna sometime around 8.55 earlier on Sunday.

Passenger Informed About Other Unruly Passengers

Meanwhile, as per an NDTV report, the matter came to the fore when a passenger informed the crew about the accused passengers drinking beer in the flight. When the pilot was informed, the crew tried to pacify the matter, and found multiple empty beer cans next to the passenger.

Accused Claims Association with Political Party

The accused were handed over to CISF and airport authority, where they once again created a ruckus. The accused told the authorities about their association to political party and further connections with the party’s national president.

Mumbai Man Arrested for Peeing on Woman on Air India Flight

The incident comes days after a Mumbai-based Shankar Mishra peed on a senior citizen female passenger midflight on the New York-Delhi Air India flight. Mishra was arrested earlier last week and has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Mishra, who had switched off his phone after a case was registered against him, was arrested from Karnataka. He had been using his social media to connect with his friends and acquaintances, and the police used technical evidences to trace and arrest him.
