Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat lost his chair just before completing four years. He handed over his resignation on Tuesday evening to Governor Baby Rani Maurya.  When asked why he left the post, he replied that the reason would be known by going to Delhi.  Trivendra Singh Rawat may not have stated the reason, but some reasons remain a matter of discussion in the political corridors prominently. Let’s know…

Garsain

In Uttarakhand, there was a demand for making Garsain the capital for a long time.  Meanwhile, Trivendra Singh declared Garasain as the summer capital and presented his budget.  During the budget, he announced that Garsain would be made a commissioner.  After this, the matter started deteriorating.  New Commissionary Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Almora and Bageshwar districts were included.  It is believed that this decision became a major reason for the departure of Trivendra Singh.  In the new commissionerate, Almora and Bageshwar were cut and merged with Kumaon.  At the same time, Chamoli and Rudraprayag were merged with Garhwal.  The Kumaon and Garhwal leaders were angered by this decision. Especially Kumaon, because Almodha is also called the cultural capital and heart of Kumaon. At the same time, there is one thing that till now Garsain was only a tehsil, which was not made a district and was directly made a commissioner.

Devasthanam Board

Devasthanam Board is also one of the big decisions taken by Trivendra Singh Rawat while being CM.  He decided to bring the monasteries located in Devbhoomi inside the board.  There was also a lot of opposition.  The saints and saints prominently registered their protest.  It is believed that there was a lot of resentment within the BJP about this decision.

His Image

It is believed that the image of Trivendra Singh Rawat is also one of the main reasons for his resignation.  According to media reports, many MLAs wrote a complaint to Trivendra Singh by writing a letter to National Speaker J.P Nadda.  Some leaders were persuaded that he was not available from the house.  In such a situation, when the assembly elections are going to be held in the state next year, the BJP wanted to avoid the displeasure of its leaders.  In the end, it was decided to change the face of the Chief Minister.
