In the long ongoing farmer’s protest, people have now started to point fingers at the silence of the big Bollywood celebrities. In such an incident, Ajay Devgan’s car was stopped in the middle of the road and he was lashed upon by a supporter of Farmer’s Protest.
On the 2nd of March, around 8:15 am, while the Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan was going to Film City in Goregaon East to shoot a film, just before entering the Gate of Film City, a man, allegedly a supporter of farmers’ protest came in front of Ajay’s car and stopped it. The person asked the Reel life Singham that the farmers have been agitating for more than 100 days, why he is not doing anything about it in ‘real life’ while he’s doing so much on ‘reel life’ and why he is not tweeting in support of the farmer?
In all the chaos, after stopping Ajay Devgn’s car for about 15 minutes, the police rushed to the scene and rescued the ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ actor and then took him to the set inside Film City for shooting.
In the light of this incident, Dindoshi police arrested the man who stopped Ajay Devgan’s car.
Those present with the man stopping the actor’s car said that their intention was to talk to Ajay Devgan about the ongoing farmers’ protest.
The person who stopped Ajay Devgan’s car has been identified as Rajdeep Singh. The accused has been arrested by police and charged under the section of IPC 341, 504 and 506. Furthermore, the investigation is underway.
According to the eyewitnesses, this wasn’t a publicity stunt in order to promote a movie or a project, rather it was genuinely to highlight the farmer’s situation in India.
