Veteran actor and megastar Amitabh Bachchan has recently bought an exclusive duplex apartment worth INR 31 crore. The property is currently under construction and is being built as part of a project named ‘Atlantis’ by builder Crystal Group.
About the duplex apartment
Amitabh Bachchan had bought the apartment back in December 2020 but registered the property with the Department of Registration and Stamps recently, in April 2021 by paying a stamp duty of ₹62 lakh, which is a very huge amount which he has paid.
Amitabh Bachchan’s apartment, which is allegedly 5,184-square feet, will have six four wheeler-parking slots and is located on the 27th and 28th floor of the 34-storey building which is under construction. The property will also provide him access to six mechanised car parking slots. Other famous Bollywood personalities including Sunny Leone and director Aanand L. Rai have also bought apartments in the same project.

About Jalsa: Big B’s current residence
Big B has total 5 properties in Juhu area, one of them is ‘Jalsa’, Bachchan family’s current residence. It measures 10,125 square feet and is a two-storey bungalow located near the JW Marriott. Big B recently said that he had purchased this residence from producer NC Sippy who has produced some of the greatest hits of all time like ‘Chupke Chupke’; ‘Alaap’ and ‘Bombay to Goa’.
He added that he had sold it later, but then he bought it back and renovated it and they’re all living there since then. Few other sources said Big B also owned a 8,000 square feet property behind Jalsa. The building had reportedly been purchased for ₹50 crore in 2013.

Sunny Leone to be Big B’s neighbour along with Anand L. Rai
Sunny Leone has registered her flat on the 12th floor of the same project in which Amitabh Bachchan has bought the apartment. She bought it for Rs 16 crore on March 28, 2021, as per registration documents accessed by some sources. Also Bollywood director Anand L. Rai, who has directed famous movies like, ‘Zero’, etc. has also bought apartment in the same project.

Ajay Devgn buys a new Bungalow worth INR 60 crore
Actor- Producer Ajay Devgn has bought a new property in Mumbai, which is in the same locality in Juhu, as his current bungalow, Shakti. According to some soures, he was property hunting for the past one year, and that the new place, which is alleged to spread across 590 square yards, is in the same location where Ajay Devgn and his family currently reside – Shakti.
The locality has several other Bollywood stars residing too, including Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra and Akshay Kumar. Ajay’s new property was previously owned by Pushpa Valia. While the original price of the house is expected to be in between Rs 65-70 crore, the cost at which Ajay bought the bungalow has not been disclosed. The actor reportedly has closed and finalised the deal at the end of 2020.
