Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan acknowledged in another interview that the script for the flick, directed by Rumy Jafry, had knocked him away.

Rumi Jafry’s ‘Chehre’ has become the focus of attention since it was announced. One surprising piece of information confirmed by producer Anand Pandit in a recent conversation is that Amitabh Bachchan did not charge a fee for his role in the movie and even bore his own international trip expenditures to shoot it.
“In order to prevent any issues when filling the tax books, we consented to award Amit Ji the pleasant appearance credits. Sir was so professional and devoted that he used his own funds to transport,” producer Anand Pandit revealed in the interview.
Chehre is a suspense thriller starred by Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, Rhea Chakraborty, Annu Kapoor, and Raghubir Yadav, released on August 27.

Amitabh Bachchan is Performing the Prominent Role of a Lawyer in ‘Chehre’
As per sources, Amitabh Bachchan was quite thrilled with the script and soon promised to do the movie. Big B is performing the prominent character of a lawyer in Rumy Jafry’s directorial debut, whereas Hashmi is playing a wealthy entrepreneur. Krystle D’Souza, a television actress, also portraying a key role in the film.
As it refers to Amitabh Bachchan, he has a busy work routine full of fascinating projects. Jhund, a remake of The Intern, Brahmastra, Mayday, and Goodbye are among them. He is already the presenter of the reality game series Kaun Banega Crorepati, which keeps him busy all the time.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the film’s launch was delayed repeatedly. The movie was unveiled previously this month, and much awaited movie was released on August 27. When asked concerning the movie’s theatrical run, producer Anand Pandit told to media that the film’s crew really intended it to be featured effectively.
He further added, “The cast had invested in a lot of energy, and we firmly believed ‘Chehre’ deserved a theatrical run. We wish the film’s brilliance to be perfectly featured, so we’re overjoyed to ultimately be able to reach audiences across cinema screens.”

In a previous interview with the media agency, Rumi talked about casting Amitabh. “After we signed Amitabh Bachchan for Chehre, we commenced searching for other actors,” he revealed.

Despite the fact that I had never collaborated with him earlier, I had heard good reviews about him in the industry. Emraan is absolutely like Amit Ji—dedicated, hardworking, and permitting nothing to get in the way of his work. He is passionately engaged in his work.
