Chairman of the Mahindra Group Anand Mahindra is a social media whiz who frequently shares movies and photos on Twitter that pique the interest of his followers. In his most recent tweet, he told his followers that he had aided the adolescent whose talent had left him “awestruck and inspired.” Prem, a young ‘Ironman’ from Imphal, had constructed an ‘Iron Man’ suit out of scrap material.
Mr. Mahindra Pledged to Support Prem
Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, was amazed earlier this year by a teenager from Manipur who created an Iron Man outfit out of junk. Mr Mahindra pledged to support Prem and said that the Mahindra Foundation would help Prem and his siblings continue their studies in a tweetstorm praising his “obvious talent.” Prem had landed at Mahindra University in Hyderabad to study engineering, as the entrepreneur had promised last night.

Mr. Mahindra Specially Thanked Indigo Airline
“Do you recall Prem, our Imphal-based young Indian Ironman?” Mr Mahindra posed the question to his 8.5 million Twitter followers. “We pledged to assist him in achieving the engineering education he desired, and I’m thrilled to inform you that he has reached at @MahindraUni in Hyderabad,” he said, thanking the Indigo airline personnel in particular for “taking such wonderful care” of Prem during his voyage.

Prem’s tale was first shared by Anand Mahindra in September. Prem had constructed an Iron Man outfit out of scrap material without any professional training, impressing Mr. Mahindra and several others. Mr Mahindra posted a video of the teen in the suit, which appeared to be a near duplicate of the one worn by Tony Stark in the Marvel films.

Top Mahindra Group Personnel would Mentor Prem’s Upbringing
When Anand Mahindra’s staff was able to get in touch with Prem a few days later, he wrote, “I am awed and impressed by Prem’s desire & skills that have flourished despite-not because of of-his situations.” A few days after his first tweet, Mr Mahindra’s team paid a visit to Prem in his hometown of Heirok. Top Mahindra Group personnel would mentor the teen’s upbringing, according to the industrialist.

Actor Jaaved Jaaferi emailed Prem’s video to Anand Mahindra first. The industrialist is credited with drawing favourable attention to the Manipur adolescent through his tweets. At the moment, Congressman Jairam Ramesh paid a visit to Prem and pledged him his complete support. The post has received over 2,300 likes and a lot of positive feedback from social media users. Some praised Mahindra for his thoughtful offer, while others wished Prem luck in his future undertakings.
