Claiming that Aryan Khan was at the “wrong place at the wrong time”, Sussanne has labelled the entire matter as “witch hunt”. Meanwhile, popular Punjabi and Bollywood singer Mika Singh questioned NCB’s raid and asked if Aryan was the only person on the cruise.

Earlier on October 4, NCB was granted custody of Aryan Khan till October 7. Other 7 persons who were also taken into custody by the NCB will also remain in the custody till October 7.

Recently, ex-wife of Hritik Roshan Sussanne Khan reacted to a post shared by Shobha De on Instagram. Claiming that the 23-year-old was “at the wrong place at the wrong time”, Sussanne noted that the incident is being used as a “witch hunt on people from Bollywood”. She also added that she stands by Aryan’s parents – Gauri Khan and Shahrukh Khan. She also noted that Aryan’s arrest is “sad and unfair as he is a good kid”.

Mika Singh Questions Why Aryan Was Only One Arrested

Other than Sussanne Roshan, Mika Singh also came in defence of the most popular star’s 23-year-old son. A day after Aryan Khan’s custody was extended, Mika took to Twitter and shared a sly tweet.

“Wow what a beautiful @CordeliaCruises I wish I could have visted. I heard lots people were there but I couldn’t see anyone els accept #AaryanKhan”, his tweet read. He further added, “Itne bade cruse mei sirf aariyan hi ghoom raha tha kya.. hadd hai.. (Was it only Aryan walking around on such a big cruise?”

Sunil Shetty, Shashi Tharoor, Pooja Bhatt Also Show Support for SRK

Earlier, popular actor Sunil Shetty, actress Pooja Bhatt and political leader Shashi Tharoor came in support for Shahrukh Khan.

On the day Aryan Khan was detained by the NCB in his alleged involvement in the matter, Sunil Shetty asked people to “give that child a breather,”. He was quoted by ANI saying, “When a raid is conducted at a place, many people are taken into custody. We assume that a particular boy must have consumed it (drugs). The process is on. Let’s give that child a breather. Let real reports come out.”

Prolific filmmaker Hansal Mehta also took to Twitter and observed that it was “painful” that people were arriving at judgement on children. He also noted that such judgement is unfair for both parent and child”.

“It is painful for a parent having to deal with a child getting into trouble. It gets compounded when people begin to arrive at judgements before the law takes its course. It is disrespectful and unfair to the parent and to the parent-child relationship. With you @iamsrk”, tweeted the Scam 1992 maker.

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor also labelled the detention of Aryan as a ‘witch trial’. He also asked people to “have empathy”, in the matter and to not rub Aryan’s face on the matter.

National Film Award winning Pooja Bhatt also took to Twitter and said that although Shahrukh doesn’t need it, she stands in solidarity with him.
