In the matter of Aryan Khan’s arrest, trouble continues for Aryan as reportedly NCB is seeking further custody. The update comes just a day after the drug-control enforcement agency put actor Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan under custody. The NCB had conducted a raid on a cruise party from where it seized MDMA, charas, and other psychotropic substances.
Earlier on Sunday midnight, popular Bollywood actor Salman Khan also made a visit to Shahrukh Khan’s residence ‘Mannat’.

Once again Bollywood’s direct connection with drug and its abuse has been revealed. Several actors in the past have notoriously been involved in drug abuse scandal. This includes Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Kangana Ranaut etc.
The subject of drug abuse by Bollywood celebrities was the top of the town in 2020 after Sushant Singh Rajput met his tragic end.
Recently, Aryan Khan, son of arguably the biggest Bollywood star, was put into custody after his alleged involvement in a rave party held on a Cruise on the shores of Mumbai.

The Facts of the Matter
23-year-old Aryan Khan, son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, was taken to a Mumbai court on October 4. He was taken to the court just a day after he and 7 others were arrested from a cruise ship that was floating off the Mumbai coast.
Earlier, the NCB produced Aryan to the Mumbai court on Sunday evening. After hearing the matter, the court granted the NCB the custody of all the 8 persons arrested till October 4, Monday.

NCB Looking for Custody Extension
It’s been reported that NCB wants the Court to grand them an extension of the custody for further interrogation. While it was earlier reported that NCB will not be seeking custody, it was later revealed that on account of new materials found during multiple raids, the NCB will be seeking for custody extension.
“He Didn’t Even Have Boarding Pass”: What Aryan’s Lawyer Argued
Meanwhile, Aryan’s lawyer Sathish Manshinde sought bail from a Mumbai court. According to Satish, Aryan was arrested only on the basis of some chat messages. Further, he also claimed that Khan had no ticket, cabin or boarding pass for the cruise. “He was there because he had been invited. He didn’t even have a boarding pass. Nothing has been found on him. He was arrested on the basis of chat only,” he was reported saying.
Although Aryan’s lawyer has argued that no drugs were in the 23-year-old’s possession, the NCB has reported that the drug haul got them 13 gm of cocaine, 21 gm of charas, 22 MDMA pills. Further, NCB also added that the charges upon Khan included purchase, posession and usage of the the drugs.

Who All Were Arrested other than Aryan Khan?
Other than Aryan Khan, persons involved in the high-profile drug bust included Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Ismeet Singh, Vikrant Chhoker, Gomit Chopra, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika.
The aforementioned youths are involved in the entertainment or the fashion industry. Arbaaz Merchant is an actor and one of the closest friends of Aryaan. He regularly appears on Aryan’s Instagram feed.
Meanwhile, Mohak, Nupur and Gomit all are Delhi residents. While Nupur and Mohak belong to the fashion industry, Gomit is a celebrity MUA (makeup artist) and Munmun is an influencer and a model.,

When Khan Meets Khan: Salman Khan Visits Shahrukh Khan
In a true gesture of compassion and support, Salman Khan visited Shahrukh Khan after his son was arrested in the Cruise raid case. On Sunday evening, Salman’s Range Rover was spotted making its way through to entrance of Shahrukh’s grand mansion Mannat.

No Raids on Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Mannat’
After Aryan was serving custody time, several publications reported that the NCB will also conduct a raid on Shahrukh Khan’s residence. However, it was later reported that SRK’s sprawling mansion will be spared from further probe as of now. Times of India has cited NCB officials confirming that no raids will be conducted on Khan’s residence ‘Mannat’.
