Staying true to his word about working towards his third unicorn, Ashneer Grover recently incorporated a new company with his wife Madhuri Jain called ‘Third Unicorn Private Limited’. The development comes a month after Grover celebrated his 40th birthday and shared a cryptic tweet about continuing with “unfinished business”. “Today I turn 40. Little did Grover’s fan know that third unicorn was literally the name of his upcoming incorporated company.

Earlier, there were reports that Grover was in the funding market to raise funds for his next start up. Reports had claimed that Grover was out to raise $300 million for his next start up. He was also reported to be taking meetings with multiple private investment companies, and had met at least six investors regarding his venture.

Ashneer Grover VS BharatPe Saga

Earlier in March, the Shark Tank India judge resigned from the position of MD and wrote an uncompromising letter to the company’s board.

In his letter, Ashneer outrightly called out the company’s management and wrote, “You treat us Founders as slaves – pushing us to build multi-billion-dollar businesses and cutting us down at will. Investor-Founder relation in India is one of Master-Slave. I am the rebel slave who must be hung by the tree so none of the other slaves can dare to be like me ever again.”
