CBSE has declared the results for the students who gave Class 12th exam this year. Actress Ashnoor Kaur shined bright and passed her exams with 94%. Earlier this year, Board exams were officially cancelled due to the coronavirus but students did give their practicals.

Ashnoor Announced Her Achievement on Instagram

As soon as the results were announced, Ashnoor took her Instagram to share her happiness with her fans too. She posted a picture of her with a victory sign and captioned it as, “AND 94% IT IS PEOPLE♥️ #12thboards. Feeling accomplished, as I didn’t disappoint myself and my near & dear ones… Hardwork paid off!!! All I have to say is, where there’s a will, there’s always, ALWAYS a way!”

Ashnoor Sets an Example

As Ashnoor Scores an amazing result of 94% she is pretty sure that she broke through the general stereotype that, ‘Actors are not good in studies’. She says that she wanted to set an example and Actors are intelligent. It is about their passion, their talent and the choices they make. She also said that their potential is not only based on their mental ability and marks.

Ashnoor’s Overwhelmed Emotions

Ashoor expressed her overwhelming emotions by saying that-

“I’m feeling very happy. This year, I did not take up any long term acting projects like a daily soap because I had to focus on my Board exams.”

She said that she wanted to better than her class 10th result. Although everything was online she still managed to focus on her studies and excel well in her results.

Pandemic’s Effect on Ashnoor’s School Life

COVID-19 pandemic has affected almost everyone around the world, same as for Ashnoor her school life in the final year was affected too. At this she said that-

“It is something that we are all experiencing for the first time and there was a lot of uncertainty. We did not know how the final results would be declared.”

She appreciated the initiative by CBSE to combine the performances of previous years in compiling class 12th results. It was a very thoughtful gesture. Talking about online classes, she said that they’re convenient to catch up even when travelling.

Ashnoor’s Nervousness on Checking her Results and the Final Moment

Ashoor also glances back at the time she checked her Board results online and the butterflies she had in her stomach right up to the moment of truth. She was expecting that her result will be good. She had worked very hard.

Ashnoor said that-

“I had set expectations. I wanted to make my parents proud. Before the results, I was nervous. We all screamed in excitement. It was a nice family moment. I have recently got a Shih Tzu pup and he also started licking me.”

College Applications and Celebrations

Ashnoor begins to shortlist colleges she wants to apply in for her undergrad course and she has plans to study in Mumbai itself so it is more convenient for her to manage her reel and real life. As for the celebrations she said that-

“We are looking to go for a vacation. But our options are limited as we will have to search for a pet friendly resort.”

She wants to pursue BMM (Bachelor of Mass Media) because she wants to gain knowledge in her field as well. She also shared that she want to learn filmmaking as well. She wants to enjoy her college life. Amid this all she will continue acting as well. She is excited and emotional on starting this new phase of her life.

When Will She Make a Comeback?

On returning to acting, Ashnoor says that offers have been flooding in but she is on a break from TV and waiting for the correct script and role. She also said that she is concentrating on grooming herself as she is amid the phase of transition from being a teenage to growing as an adult. She is more focused on the content she is a part of.
