In a ‘believe it or not’ development, the Gujarat Police filed a complaint against a ‘gang of ghosts’ thanks to a bizarre request by a 35-year-old man. The incident is coming straight from Jambughoda, Gujarat where a 35-year-old man rushed to the police complaining that he was troubled by a ‘gang’ of ghost who threatened to murder him.

The human mind is truly miraculous and chilling. On one hand, it leads us all to create products and arts, communicate feelings, and navigate the challenging pathway of life. On the other hand, if pushed to the edge of insanity, it conjures vivid unreal images that throws us out of reality.

One such example is of 35-year-old man from Gujarat. On Sunday, June 27, the police officials at the Jambughoda Police Station received one of the strangest requests they could’ve thought of. A man, shivering with fear approached the police and asked them to file a complaint against miscreants. The only catch – these miscreants were ghosts.

Police officials writes report to pacify man

The police officials, being the good-natured Samaritans that they were, obliged and wrote forth a report. In order to pacify the man, the police officials lodged an official complaint and showed it to the man. In the official written case, addressed to the sub-inspector, it was written that the 35-year-old man was threatened by a gang of ghosts while he was working in his farm.

“He was agitated, clearly behaving abnormally”: PSI

Police Sub Inspector Mayanksinh Thakor was quoted by the Times of India saying-

He was very agitated. It was clear that he was behaving abnormally. We took down his application and showed it to him to help him calm down.”

The Ghost of Mental Illness Busted by Police

After a day, the Police again spoke to the family of the man and the 35-year-old man who’s suffering from mental illness. The man claimed that he rushed to the police because he felt like the ghosts would not dare to bother or harm him if he goes to the police station. PSI Thakur said that the police asked his family to make sure that he doesn’t miss taking his medications so that such psychotic episodes will not occur often.

‘Can’t Look for Documents Because of Clerk’s Ghost’: Gwalior College’s reply to RTI Requests

While ghosts of mental illness can be busted by medical care and intervention, ghosts of carelessness and corruption are much harder to kill. In one such incident, a group of RTI investigators, who have been looking into the discrepancies in MBBS admissions in a Gwalior medical college, were recently given the excuse of ‘ghost’ for lack of documents.

‘Ghost of clerk haunts room’

According to a TOI report, the RTI activists were first told that the certain documents were seized by the CBI, then the college told that the clerk who handled the documents was arrested by the CBI.

When the RTI activists investigated further, they were told that the clerk who handled the documents killed himself in the room that the documents were kept. The college claimed that the room was haunted by the clerk’s ghost and people are afraid to open the locks of the room.
