In a shocking incident reported from Bengaluru, a woman got her lover to cut off the husband’s private parts and murder him. Both the woman and her paramour were held by the cops for killing the victim. The incident was reported from Bengaluru’s Yelahanka police station limits and occurred earlier on October 21. According to reports, the victim was the accused woman’s distant uncle.

The accused in the matter has been identified as Shwetha and Suresh while the deceased victim was identified as Chandru. Although Chandru and Shwetha were legally married, Chandru was also a distant relative of Shwetha’s and the couple had an age difference of 18 years. Prior to tying knot with Chandru, Shwetha was in a relationship with Suresh, her college senior.

This affair continued even after Shwetha got married to Chandru. After finding it difficult to carry on with the affair, Shwetha convinced her lover Suresh to murder Chandru. On October 21, Suresh hit Chandru with a wooden log on the head. Shwetha also asked Suresh to hack Chandru’s private parts.

After the incident, Shwetha acted as if she was innocent. She told people that her husband had not come home, and eventually the husband was found on the rooftop. An investigation led the police to evidences about something being fishy, and Shwetha and Suresh have since been held.

The Facts of the Matter

Tales of affairs gone wrong are as old as time immemorial. However, there are times when bad turns to worse, and a heinous crime is committed in the aftermath of affair. Something similar was reported from Bengaluru where a woman and her lover were held after the woman convinced her lover to cut of the husband’s private parts.

The incident was reported from Yelahanka police station limits, and occurred earlier on October 21. The deceased victim in the incident was identified as Chandru while the accused wife and her lover were identified as Shwetha and Suresh, respectively.

Accused Woman & Victim Husband were ‘Related’

As per reports, Shweta and Chandru were legally married, but had an age gap of 18 years. Chandru was also a distant uncle of Shweta’s. Reportedly, Shweta was in a relationship with her senior Suresh before she married Chandru, and continued the same after getting married to Chandru.

Shwetha was frustrated over not being able to continue the affair with Suresh, and hence convinced him to murder Chandru.

The Crime As It Happened

On October 21, Shwetha took Chandru to the terrace, where Suresh was in hiding. Suresh attacked Chandru, and hit him repeatedly on the head with a wooden log.

Shwetha also convinced Suresh to cut off Chandru’s private parts with a knife, which he did so after assaulting him with wooden logs. Meanwhile, Shwetha later pretended not knowing about her husband’s whereabouts, claiming that he was still at work.

When Chandru didn’t return for a long time, her family started looking for him, and eventually discovered him lying in the pool of his own blood.

Accused Wife Maintained Innocence

The cops were alerted and the deceased was shifted to the to the Yelahanka Government Hospital, where Shwetha maintained that she had no idea as to what transpired with her husband.

The police initiated an investigation, where they found Shwetha to be changing her statements. Initially, she accused one Lokesh, who was a relative of Shwetha’s and had confessed to her feelings to her way before Shwetha and Chandru shifted to Yelahanka.

The Misleading & The Eventual Arrest

Shwetha alleged that Lokesh was harassing her by calling her repeatedly for the one last year. However, technical evidences indicated that Lokesh had not made any calls to her. When Shwetha’s phone data was further analyzed, Suresh’s identity struck as fishy, as he had called her 20 calls before the day of murder.

Later, Suresh and Shwetha were both arrested, and further investigation is underway.
