The film, featuring Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, and Kiara Advani, is a sequel series to Priyadarshan’s popular 2007 film. The movie’s strongest point is its attempt to recreate the larger-than-life early 2000s films with big ensembles and budgets. Kartik Aaryan starrer is a classic blend of horror-comedy, fans appear to be overwhelmed with the movie and called it “Winner”. T-Series presented ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ with Murad Khetani and helmed by Anees Bazmee.

Kartik Aaryan has succeeded to get back on track. While the sequel to the series, featuring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu, strives to keep the excitement and chills of the first, the tale is entirely new from the first – except perhaps Manjulika.

There are numerous references and throwbacks to the initial Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which featured Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Shiney Ahuja, and Ameesha Patel. However, equating Kartik to Akshay is pointless because it will detract from the enjoyable part of the film. Director Anees Bazmee and writer Aakash Kaushik skillfully deliver a classic blend of light fears and broad tomfoolery, which is sealed off with a twist. It appears that the movie has survived since favorable word of mouth will undoubtedly boost its box office this weekend.

Netizens are hailing the spectacular performances by Kartik Aaryan and Tabu. Check out the some Twitter reviews:

Ruhan (Kartik Aaryan) and Reet (Kiara Advani) encounter at a hill station and quickly connect, backed by a song-and-dance routine. Most Bollywood love tales develop in this sense. Ruhan and Reet end up in the deserted haveli where Manjulika’s ghost is supposed to have been held hostage for the past 18 years. Ruhan transforms into Rooh Baba in no time, convincing everyone that he can communicate with ghosts and the spirits of the departed. Is Manjulika planning to seek her revenge? What happens if he unintentionally liberates the trapped spirit?

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Review: Script Analysis

The narrative of Akash Kaushik’s film leaves you scratching your head on several occasions. Farhad Samji’s dialogues, which are timely and well-placed in the screenplay, manage to sustain the film to some level. The movie’s screenplay is similarly reflective of that era, with hilarious gags and quips. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a new plot that stands on its own. Events pick up in the second half, with Mishra and Rajpal Yadav (the original’s lone holdover) getting some witty quips and intriguing setups to play with, and Rajesh Sharma not far behind.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Review: Star Performance

Kartik Aaryan is amazing! He succeeds in making us forget about Akshay Kumar’s fantastic performance.  Kartik Aaryan shines as Ruhan because he thrives under the burden of comparison, providing quality entertainment. Kiara Advani is the lowest of all, not for her performance, but mostly because her character doesn’t offer her enough opportunity to develop. Tabu has a significant role in the movie, and she played her part excellently. Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, and Ashwini Kalsekar are squandered in roles that are designed to be funny but rather make you cringe.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Review: Direction & Music

The starting events that push filmmaker Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 are unclear and irrational to start with. Manu Anand treats horror scenes in a shady manner, which works to his advantage to some extent. Music composed by Pritam and lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya is just okay. However, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has all the ingredients of a masala movie such as physical and situational comedies with smart dialogues, sharp wit, and expressionism, amazing performances by the entire cast. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is definitely a family entertainer.
