In a harrowing incident being reported from Bhopal, a 12-year-old boy reportedly took his own life after his parents refused to take him to wedding. The class 6 student hanged himself from a ceiling fan at his residence. The incident was reported from Bhopal’s Vijay Market area. According to reports, the 12-year-old boy asked his parents to attend the wedding of the family’s relative. However, his parents decided to leave him at home. The heartbroken boy took the grave step of taking his own life as an aftermath of his demand not being met. The 12-year-old boy has been identified as Aryan. It should be noted that Aryan’s brother Ayush found the dead body of his younger brother after he came back from club at night. Aryan was initially rushed to a private hospital, and was referred to a government hospital. At the government hospital, Aryan was declared dead.

The Facts of the Matter

When parents of 12-year-old Aryan chose not to take him to the wedding of one of their relatives in Bhopal’s Karond, little did they know the tragedy that awaited them in the corner. According to reports, a heartbroken Aryan chose to hang himself to the ceiling fan after his parents refused to take him to the wedding of one of their relatives along with them. The incident was reported from Govindpura locality in Bhopal. The tragic incident occurred earlier on Saturday last week.

Victim Was Class 6 Student, Father Was Teacher in the Same School

Initially, the police were baffled to find out that the boy took his own life, but chose not to leave any suicide letter or note behind. However, on further investigation, they got to know about the cause of the shocking step that Aryan took. According to a TOI report, Aryan resided in Govindpura’s Barkheda area in Bhopal. He was a 6th class student and studied at a school where his father was also employed as a teacher.

Aryan Tries Convincing Parents to No Avail

According to Assistant of Sub-Inspector Dhanraj Dubey, on Saturday, Aryan’s parents were getting ready to go to a wedding of their relative in Bhopal’s Karond area in Nishantpura. When Aryan asked his parents to take him to the wedding with them, they decided against it. 12-year-old tried to convince his parents to no avail.

Brother Had Left Aryan and Went to Club

Meanwhile, after Aryan’s parents left the home, his elder brother Ayush decided to go to a club and leave Aryan on his own. When he returned from club, he was alarmed to find the doors of his home wide open. Soon, the rug swept under his feet when he found Aryan’s body hanging from the ceiling fan.

ASI Dubey further added that soon neighbours rushed to Aryan’s residence when they heard his brother’s shouts. Aryan was first rushed to a government hospital. He was then referred to another private hospital which later declared him dead.

Similar Incident Took Place in Kolkata Last Week

A similar heartbreaking incident from Kolkata emerged earlier last week when a 12-year-old boy jumped from the 11th floor of an apartment building in the hopes of being saved by an ‘angel’. Reportedly, the 12-year-old boy was addicted to Japanese manga series called Platinum End.

In the show, a teen-hero can be seen jumping from the roof of a building, only to be saved by an angel. The teen hero, on being saved by an angel, develops super powers. The 12-year-old boy was identified as Biraj Pachisia and the incident took place at North Kolkata’s Phulbagun area on the day of the Saraswati Puja.
