Bhopal: 5-Year-Old Mute-and-Deaf Girl Raped by 56-Year-Old Neighbour, Accused’s Residence Demolished

In a blood-curdling incident reported from Bhopal, a 5-year-old mute-and-deaf girl was recently raped by her neighbour. While the accused was sent to custody, his residence was demolished for being illegal. The incident was reported from Kolar area of Bhopal and occurred earlier on Thursday. As per reports, another neighbour informed the survivor’s parents about her cries coming from the accused’s house earlier on Thursday.

In the follow-up to the shameful and rage-worthy incident, the accused has been booked under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code. Further, as the survivor belonged from the Dalit community, the accused was also booked under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. He is currently in the judicial custody.

According to reports, the 56-year-old accused resided at an illegal house near the survivor’s family. The accused’s wife had gone for a month to Ujjain, leaving the accused at his own devices. Earlier on Thursday, another neighbour heard the survivor’s crying coming from the accused’s home.

The neighbour alerted the survivor’s mother, who rushed to the house. As per a Times Now report, the survivor’s mother found her daughter being sexually molested by the accused. The girl has suffered injuries in her private parts.

The accused was later nabbed by the accused, and was thrashed by the locals, only to be later handed to the police.

While all crimes need to be taken with the same level of sincerity, some crimes are so gruesome and heart wrenching in their degrees, that they can shake the core of even the most hardened criminals. In one such incident reported from Bhopal, a 5-year-old specially abled child, was raped by her 56-year-old neighbour.

The incident was reported from Kolar, Bhopal, and occurred earlier on Thursday this week.

Neighbour Heard Survivor’s Cries

As per Kolar Station House Officer Chandrakant Patel, the survivor and her family lived near the 56-year-old accused’s illegal residence in Kolar. Earlier on Thursday, another neighbor of the survivor was shocked to hear the 5-year-old girl’s screams of crying.

The neighbour quickly alerted the survivor’s mother, who rushed to the neighbour’s residence. As per a TOI report, the mother was horrified to see the sight of her 5-year-old mute-and-deaf daughter being sexually abused by the 56-year-old accused.

Accused Thrashed by the Locals

The mother and other locals were able to rescue the girl, and the accused was thrashed by the locals. The cops were informed and the accused was subsequently taken to the police station. The cops called a sign-language interpreter.

Sign-Language Interpreter Called

The survivor relieved the horrors she was subjected to while interacting with the interpreter and gave the cops an account of the incident. With the mother’s complaint and the survivor’s own account of the incident, the cops were able to arrest the accused.

Accused Arrested, House Demolished

The 56-year-old accused’s wife had been in Ujjain since the last one month, leaving him alone to act on his devices. As the survivor belongs to the Dalit community, the accused was booked under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Meanwhile, a Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) team, and Kolar police team had a joint operation where they demolished the accused’s illegally built home.
