More than a month after Microsoft-co founder Bill Gates and philanthropist Melinda Gates decided to call it quits on their marriage, a report has emerged which claims that Bill Gates was a ‘womanizer’, a ‘bully’ and his clean image was just good PR. The report comes from Business Insider where the media house has quoted four former Microsoft ex-employees.

When the name Bill Gates comes out of a person’s mouth, an image of a man dressed in a comfortable cardigan, wearing oversized glasses with a meek smile on his face comes up. When the name Bill Gates comes out of a person’s mouth, the personality of an enigmatic genius that had amassed copious amounts of wealth for years comes up.
With such an image among the masses, reports of Gates being a bully and a womanizer can be considered shocking. But that’s exactly what a Business Insider report claims. The media house spoke to ex-Microsoft employees who told them about the dirty laundry Microsoft has been pushing under the rug.

The Bill Gates Affair and Exit from Director’s Board
It all started with a former Microsoft female engineer writing a letter to the company’s board of directors that Gates and she had been having an affair since years. The letter, which was penned in 2019 was the result of Gates exiting the Board of Directors. However, in 2021, after his divorce, his spokesperson admitted that Gates had an affair which ‘ended amicably’.
After that, several female Microsoft employees shared stories of Gates asking them to dinners and his visits to the strip clubs. Further, his relationship with sex trafficker Jeffery Epstein also came into light.
However, Gates’ spokesperson denied all allegations and said-
“It is extremely disappointing that there have been so many lies published about the cause, the circumstances and the timeline of Bill Gates’s divorce.”
Bill Gates – The Bully
Now, a new report has emerged where 4 former Microsoft employees claimed that Gates was brash and hot tempered. A former executive was quoted by Business Insider saying-
“Having a meeting with Bill was just an opportunity to get yelled at, so I tried to avoid that.”
Further, Gates was alleged to be someone who is known for his swearing. “That’s the stupidest fu****g idea I’ve ever heard”, was considered a catchphrase of his.
Another female Microsoft board member shared that Gates was uninterested in any suggestions regarding diversity planning. She claimed that Gates just was not interested in hearing something like that and would often reply- “Are you trying to effing destroy the company?”

Bill Gates – The Womanizer
The report further alleged that on times when he didn’t work his 17-hours, he called his friends over and brought in dancers that swam in his bachelor pad.
“Gates himself rounded up the girls and brought them over there. I don’t know if he physically transported them or if he just told them where to show up,”

How Bill Gates’ PR Worked
According to the report, the clean image of Gates was an effort of Microsoft’s publicists. An ex-employee shared that the company was feeding stories to some well-known journalists that covered Microsoft in a good light, and in-exchange they got to keep the bizarre stories for themselves.
“There were some big-name journalists who knew about this behavior, and they never reported on it because they knew Microsoft would have taken away their access.”
