According to Inspector R.R. Dubey, the SUV was travelling at a much higher speed than it should have at the NH-547. The police claims that the car was cut half as an impact of the crash. The police also reasoned that due to the fact that the fuel tank was just under the seat and fuel was leaking below, the rescue workers could not use cutters to cut open the car and pull the passengers out.

Will the accident put a dent in Seltos’ sales?
Launched by Hyundai in 2019, Kia Seltos is one of the largest-selling mid-range SUVs on the road. With its price ranging from 9.95-17.65 lakhs, the SUV has been a lucrative option for buyers who want the comfort and luxury of an SUV at a lower price.
Kia’s sales number sing the same tune. Although the car has been in the markets for 2 years, it has dominated a large chunk of the sales figures for the company. To give our readers some context, it should be noted that out of the total 19,100 vehicles sold by Kia in March 2021, a whopping 10,577 were Seltos.
An accident like this could place a massive dent in the company’s positioning and its sales figures.
