In West Delhi’s Rajouri Garden, two delivery agents working for Blinkit were allegedly assaulted and abused by a customer over asking for change. The incident, which was captured on the cam, came to the fore when the cops received a PCR call at the Rajouri Garden police station.
The victims in the matter were identified as 20-year-old Aman and 23-year-old Gurpal Singh. The victims were allegedly assaulted at a house where they were delivering items. Gurpal Singh stated that the customer hurled religious slurs against him and the Sikh community when he asked for change.
According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Ghanshyam Bansal, the argument over change led to physical assault on the delivery boys. A case has been lodged under IPC section 295A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), and 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint) was lodged, and the investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, the accused persons have also alleged that the delivery staffers misbehaved with the women present inside the house and used abusive words. Meanwhile, Blinkit issued a statement claiming the safety and well-being of the delivery partners are of utmost importance, and the company has provided immediate healthcare support and loss of pay for the affected delivery partners.

The entire incident, which was caught on cam, has different narratives, with the accused customer alleging that the staffers made inappropriate comments.

What Does the Video Show?
In the video, two men were seen brutally thrashing the Blinkit delivery staffers. A man in white shirt grabs a delivery agent and slams him on a parked car while another man pushes another delivery partner against a car, and rains multiple blows on his face, before the man could back off. In the background, a delivery agent can be heard shouting in panic that he didn’t say anything, and asking his assaulter to stop with his abuse.

Customers Hurled Religious Slurs
The victims in the matter were identified as Aman and Gurpal.
Upon investigation, the police revealed that two delivery agents, Aman (20) and Gurpal Singh (23), were allegedly assaulted while delivering items at a house in Rajouri Garden. According to Gurpal Singh’s statement, the customer, Tarun Suri, hurled religious slurs against him and the Sikh community when he asked for change. The argument escalated into physical assault on the delivery boys, as reported by DCP (West) Ghanshyam Bansal.
Customer Makes Allegations Against Delivery Staffers
Meanwhile, the accused customers have also alleged misbehavior and the use of abusive words by the delivery staffers with the women present inside the house.
Consequently, a case was lodged against Tarun Suri under IPC section 295A (deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), and 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint).
