Popular swing ‘break dance’ recently broke down at a Ramleela fair in Ghaziabad, injuring four people of the same family, including two children. Shocking video of the incident shows the moment where the swing broke own, throwing the children in different directions due to the speed and the impact. The incident comes weeks after another swing in Mohali snapped at 80 ft height, injuring at least 10 people.
Hair-raising incident of the video shows children and adults enjoying in the ‘break dance’ swing. As the joyride picks up its speed, one can hear the holler and cheer of the swing riders. All hell breaks loose in no time as one can hear sounds of thuds and thumps. Somehow the swing breaks down, and one particular section of it is flung in a different direction.
According to reports, the Ramleela was organized by Sri Sulamal Ramlila committee earlier on Friday. Four members of the same family, including two children, were seated in one section of the swing which broke down, and injured them all.
The injured includes a couple, their 10-year-old daughter, and another 8-year-old daughter Avni. The family was treated under Dr. SP Singh, Emergency Medical Officer. The condition of the injured is stable, and one of the girls suffered a serious injury in head, and received four stitches.
The Facts of the Matter
Indian culture is a melting point of vibrant and joyful customs. One such tradition is that of going to fairs or “melas”. Children, young, adult, and elderly, all come together. They indulge in delicious food dishes, entertaining games, and shop to their heart’s content.
However, a recent mela turned into a horror show when a swing broke down, injuring four people of the same family, including two children. The incident was reported from Ghaziabad where a Ramleela fair was organized.
Horrific video of the swing breaking down while in motion has since gone viral on social media.

What Does the Video Show?
The video shows a swing making rounds with children and adults sitting in it, cheering and screaming in delight. All hell breaks lose when the swing picks up the speed and continues to go round at a dangerous speed. Suddenly, one of the hammocks breaks down and one part of the swing is flung away to the other side, injuring those who were seated in it.

Probe Ordered
According to reports, the fair was organized by Shri Sullamal Ramlila Committee. After the accident was reported to police, a team of personnel rushed to the event and all the rides were closed. Following the mishap, the Ghaziabad administration issued a probe in the matter. After the investigation, departments, including entertainment and fire departments, were given permission to run the swings.

Injured From the Same Family
Meanwhile, the injured were rushed to the hospital where they were treated by Dr. SP Singh, Emergency Medical Officer. The injured are from the same family, including the coupe, a 10-year-old daughter and another 8-year-old daughter Avni.
The condition of the injured is reported to be stable. However, one of the girls received serious injury on her head, and received four stitches.
