According to preliminary reports, four people entered the victim’s home and pulled him out, and began stabbing him. Police said that all four accused – Zahid, Mehtab, Danish and Islam were arrested

According to police, the victim and four accused were attending a birthday celebration, when a sudden fight ensued between the two sides. Leading to fierce fighting between the two groups. It is being told that both sides were in tug of war even before this incident.

During the investigation, it was revealed that both the parties opened their respective eateries in the surrounding areas in Rohini in October last year. But both were at a loss and had to be shut down. The two sides held each other responsible for the loss and the issue was often debated.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The police are investigating the case and verifying all the statements made by the victim’s family.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (External) Sudhanshu Dhama said, “All four people have been arrested and a case has been registered against them.”

Although, Rinku’s family and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) disapproved of the police’s statement and claims that Rinku was associated with the organisation and was killed due to the reason that he was collecting donations for Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. His family also said that their son was murdered due to his participation in the rally to collect donations and chanted the slogans of ‘Jai Shree Ram’. His family has acknowledged that he was working in association with BJP but there are others who are denying this fact.
