In a shocking incident caught on cam, an advocate thrashed a woman mercilessly outside a court complex with the advocate being booked for his shocking actions. The incident was reported from Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh. The video of the shocking incident shows the advocate running after the 23-year-old woman like a maniac and hitting her on the back repeatedly as people watched the ordeal without making an effort to intervene.
The accused lawyer has been identified a Bhagwan Singh while the victim has been identified as 23-year-old Bharti Singh. According to reports, the woman was in the court and was fighting a court battle against her husband over alimony following a divorced. Following the shocking incident, the accused lawyer was charged with multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code, including Section 355 (Assault or criminal force), Section 294 (punishment for obscene acts or words in public), and more.
It should be noted that there are no reports that speculate or confirm what triggered such a brazen reaction from the advocate.

In Madhya Pradesh, an advocate was booked for brutally thrashing a woman outside a court complex. The incident transpired earlier this week from Shahdol district’s Beohari region. The woman was reportedly at the court for a litigation against her divorced husband for alimony related matter. The accused has been identified as Bhagwan Singh (58) and the victim has been identified as Bharti Singh (23).
According to Sub Divisional Officer of Police Ravindra Prakesh, the incident transpired earlier on Thursday, May 5 when Bharti Singh was at the court regarding her litigation against husband over alimony matter.
What Did the Video Show?
The harrowing video emerging from the incident showed the advocate running behind the victim as she tries to evade him. The advocate gets a hold of the woman and can be seen mercilessly hit her on the back. The entire ordeal transpired in public view, however not a single person can be seen trying to intervene. The woman’s child was also reportedly at the scene, and was on the ground, crying in abject terror.

Accused Lawyer was Woman’s Divorced Husband’s Advocate
According to an NDTV report, the accused advocate is the woman’s divorced husband’s lawyer. Following the incident, the police received an alert, based on which, a case against has been filed. The accused was booked under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code, which includes Section 355 (punishment for assault), Section 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), Section 294 (punishment for obscene acts or words in public), Section 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation).
Bihar Woman Forced to Give Massage to Police Officer
Earlier last month, a similar incident emerged where a police officer was seen getting a massage from a woman who was in the police station to secure son’s release. The entire ordeal of the incident was caught on cam, following which the cop in question was suspended. In the video gone viral, the cop was seen talking to the woman’s lawyer and giving a word about the matter. The police officer was heard telling the lawyer that he would be sending the woman with the relevant documents for bail.
Chennai Cops Assault Blind Men For Asking Directions
Similarly, in Chennai, drunk cop reportedly assaulted two blind men and broke their walking sticks for asking directions. According to reports, the blind men met the cop in question and asked directions for a particular place. The request didn’t go too well with the cop who reportedly assaulted the blind men.
