In a horrific incident caught on cam, a man in Haryana “accidentally” opened fire and shot his friend at a club. Shocking videos making rounds of social media, show the accused pulling out a firearm from his trousers and accidentally firing once at the friend, and then at the bouncers to keep them away from intervening.
The bullet which could have hit the bouncer, somehow ended up hitting one of the two friends the man had come to the club with. The accused in the matter has been identified as Mohit, a resident of Ludhiana. The incident transpired earlier on the wee hours of Sunday morning, July 3.
Based on the CCTV footage, the police have registered two cases so far. The first case has been registered against Mohit, for attempt to murder. The second case has been filed against the owner for keeping the club opened beyond the permissible time limit. For the unversed, the permissible time limit to keep an establishment open is 1 am.
It should be noted that despite knowing his name, address, and catching him in a CCTV footage opening fire and injuring his friend, the police are yet to arrest Mohit.
Earlier last month, an Army jawan was shot dead during a celebratory fire in Uttar Pradesh. The weapon was fired by the jawaan’s friend.
