In an incident of exceptional bravery that was caught on camera, a Kazakh hero rescued a 3-year-old who was dangling from her eighth-floor window. The incident was reported from Nur-Sultan, capital of Kazakhstan and the hero who rescued the little girl was identified as 37-year-old Sabit Shontakbaev.

Sabit saw the little girl hanging from an eighth-floor window of an apartment building, almost 80 ft above the ground. Without wasting a moment, Sabit climbed the building, clung himself outside the window, and rescued the girl. According to reports, the girl’s mother was not in town, and in her absence, she climbed out of window by piling up cushions over each other.

Hair-raising video of the incident shows the young girl hanging on to her dear life on the window ledge after slipping through it. As the girl’s foot dangle, somehow a hero emerges from the window beneath her and what begins is truly a nail-biting rescue mission.

While the 3-year-old tries to hold on to the window frame, the hero rescuer somehow manages to reach upwards. Somehow, he manages to successfully accomplish the mission impossible. Following the incident, Kazakh’s Ministry of Emergency Situations named him a hero.

However, life imitated fiction recently, when a man in Kazakhstan also climbed up the window of an apartment building, to save the life of a 3-year-old girl. The entire incident’s visuals have gone viral on internet with the man being lauded as a Hero.

Man on his way to Work Turns Into Superhero

According to reports, 37-year-old Sabit Shontakbaev was on his way to work when he saw commotion on street looking somewhere up. When he followed the gaze of the crowd, he was shocked to see a three-year-old dangling outside a window of an apartment building.

A father-of-four, Sabit let his super-dad instincts get the best of him. Rushing upstairs in the same apartment building as the girl. He reached the seventh floor, a floor below the one where the girl had climbed out of the window and was hanging precariously by it.

Fortune Favours the Brave

Fortunes favours the brave, and when Sabit knocked on an apartment of the seventh floor, thankfully someone opened it within moments of him knocking the door. He quickly climbed out of the window. His coworker, who was by his side through the entire ordeal, held his legs as they didn’t have any harness.

How Sabit Rescued the 3-Year-Old Girl

Out of the window, Sabit somehow reached out and caught the girl’s leg and tugged it, as a signal that she can let her go. The girl managed to let go of the window and Sabit managed to pass her through the open window of the seventh floor and gave her to his friend who had been holding his leg.

Shockingly enough, he didn’t even wait for the little girl’s mother as he didn’t want to be too late for work.

Medal Awarded, Will Receive 3-Bedroom Apartment for Family

Following the incident, Sabit has been hailed as a hero for his exceptional bravery that ended up saving the life of a three-year-old girl. He was awarded a medal for his courage by his town’s deputy emergency minister Ibrahim Kulshimayev. His good deed also landed him a job offer by the city who wanted to hire him as a rescuer.

Further, he will also be awarded a 3-bedroom apartment, and a television for his family of  three sons and one daughter.
