In Chhattisgarh, a 20-year-old girl was reportedly killed by her father and brothers after they saw her talking to her lover. The accused reportedly made the incident look like a rape and went on to file a complaint against the woman’s lover, to implicate him. The incident was reported from Jharkhand’s Chaibasa district.
The incident was reported by ANI which took to Twitter and reported – “A 20-yr-old, Sadiya Kaushar, killed by her father Mustafa Ahmad & 2 brothers in Chakradharpur after they found her talking to her boyfriend at night. They threw body in a well & made it look like she was raped-murdered. Mustafa & his 2 sons arrested: SP.”
As per SP Ashutosh Shekhar, information was received about the disappearance of a 20-year-old girl identified as Sadia Kausar. During investigation, the girl’s phone was recovered from the house. As the investigation intensified, the cops were able to recover Sadia’s body from a well inside her home.
Earlier on February 9, the girl was talking to her boyfriend on a video call, which angered her family. The family members thrashed the girl so bad that she fainted. When the relatives assumed she was dead, they threw her in a well and filed a missing person’s complaint.
The family also put pressure on police to nab the woman’s lover.
The Facts of the Matter
In a horrific incident reported from Chhattisgarh, a 20-year-old girl was murdered by her own family, including her father and brothers, who committed the crime after seeing the victim talk to her boyfriend. Further, the accused also went on to make the entire incident look like rape-murder and put pressure on police to nab the woman’s boyfriend.
The incident was reported from Jharkhand’s Chaibasa and the victim was identified as Sadiya Kaushar. The accused were identified as Mustafa Ahmad and her two brothers Muhammad Wawas and Shaad, as per an Amar Ujala report.

Victim was on Video Call With BF
According to reports, earlier on the night of February 9, the victim was speaking to her boyfriend on a video call. When her family saw her talking to her boyfriend on the call, they were enraged. They went on to thrash the victim so bad that she fainted, prompting them to assume that she had actually died.
Instead of rushing the victim to a hospital, the accused went on to commit further crimes. The girl’s father and her brothers tied the woman’s body to a brick and threw her into a well inside their house. Soon, other relatives were also told about the ordeal, and informed that the victim had died.

Filing Missing Complaint, Alleging BF’s Involvement
Meanwhile, the victim’s family also filed a missing person’s complaint, alleging that the victim had disappeared. An investigation was kicked off, and the cops found the girl’s body deep inside the well. The family then alleged that the victim’s boyfriend was involved in the case and filed a rape and murder case.

Father, Brothers Arrested
The cops also said that the victim’s father had been putting pressure on police to have the boyfriend somehow implicated and visited them to avoid any suspicion. Further investigation in the matter revealed the family’s involvement, and the victim’s father and brothers have since been put behind bars.
