Two Russian flights landed in India with oxygen concentrators, lung ventilation equipment, medicines, bedside monitors along with coronavir, and other needful pharmaceutical items landed in India to help the country in fighting a tough battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Russian on Thursday delivered 20 tonnes of medical supplies in the main, comprising oxygen concentrators, ventilators, and medicines as a piece of its succour to support the country with the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic that has eaten up several states.
The Ambassador of Russia shared the information to India on Twitter by Nikolay Kudashev. He tweeted that ” two urgent flights on demand, intervened by Russian EMERCOM came about here today. These are lung ventilation apparatus, oxygen concentrators, bedside monitors, medicines, including Coronavir, and more essential pharmaceutical items,” he tweeted.

In addition, he said that Russia is intently observing the condition in India, also added that deliveries of COVID-19 vaccine Sputnik V to India will begin from May ’21.
“We profoundly empathize along with the Indian people due to our traditionally warm and companionship” mentioned Kudashev.
He also mentioned that India had approved emergency supplies of hydroxychloroquine to Russia as a gesture of goodwill when the pandemic unrolled last year. Kudashev said collective efforts and manual respect should be the most ” important recipe” to counter the challenge.
External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi showed courtesy to Russia for the supplies.
The respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin had a conversation over the phone. Throughout the phone call, Putin proclaimed the decision to send emergency humanitarian aid to India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude to Putin for Russia’s help and support to India in its hard time.
India is staggering down the impact of the second wave of coronavirus. On Wednesday, over 3.60 lakh fresh COVID – 19 cases were reported and 3,293 deaths in the last 24 hours.
