A truck traveling at a high speed crashed into a CRPF vehicle near Nambal in Awantipora, Kashmir on May 24th. At 5.43 pm, atleast two CRPF jawans were injured in the collision, which was recorded by a nearby CCTV camera. The video footage shows the truck speeding and losing control before it collided with the CRPF vehicle.

CRPF Personnel Deployed 24×7 Check-point
CRPF personnel were deployed at the check-point 24×7 as part of their ROP (Road Opening Party) duty. When the CRPF personnel were on duty, the speeding truck lost control on the highway and rammed into a CRPF vehicle parked on the roadside. The condition of the injured jawans is said to be stable.
Another CRPF Personnel Dies in UP
On Wednesday, Sub-inspector Jabar Singh of the Central Reserve Police force was tragically killed along with his wife after being hit by a speeding car while riding their motorcycle in Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh. Five other people were injured in the accident. Singh was on leave for his son’s marriage and had returned home to Sharifpur village. The car responsible for the collision was detained by the police and they are making attempts to apprehend the driver.
