Netizens are praising the film’s innovative plot, which was offered on the streaming platforms. Many people are also praising the amazing cast for their roles in the movie, which is presented by Dinesh Vijan and Jio Studios and helmed by Tushar Jalota.

Details

The film’s plot centers on a corrupt and witty politician who aspires to pass his 10th class Board exam while serving a prison sentence.

Dasvi’s building stone is influenced by the narrative of the show Maharani. We are all familiar with Lalu Prasad Yadav’s strategy of designating Rabdi Devi as his successor. The film’s plot is somewhere similar to his life. Dasvi has a good and new concept, focusing on the need for education, notably for our politicians, but it never fully resonates and is bound to the silliness of its characters. However, we can say Dasvi is an average entertainer with a great social message.

Dasvi Review: Script Analysis

The narrative is about learning and the significance of education, and it is modeled on a satire about an Indian political dynasty. The wonderful first half is filled with a bunch of socio-political satire and comedy jabs that draw sincere laughs. However, it slips down in the second half, which becomes more didactic and feels stretched. Suresh Nair and Ritesh Shah’s dialogues and narrative lack a particular charm.

Some of the characters’ responses are also highly artificial, particularly Abhishek and Nimrat’s screen equation. There was also an effort to make a bond between the actors and the viewers by including some catchphrases, but the effort eventually failed.

Dasvi Review: Star Performance

Abhishek Bachchan shows a genuine effort to portray the part. If the script had supported him, he could have played a lot better with the character. Nimrat Kaur impresses as Bimla Devi, perfectly expressing all of the character’s facets. Jyoti Deswal is portrayed by Yami Gautam, who puts her all into the role but isn’t truly convincing.

Dasvi Review: Direction & Music

Tushar Jalota’s film combines so many ingredients to present a single basic point, and it loses perspective. Dasvi is clearly not a masterpiece of Tushar. It’s a movie with a vision that also tries hard to impress. However, whether it fulfills the latter is unclear.

Sachin Jigar delivers an upbeat album with only a few memorable songs. The soundtrack adds nothing to the film. The ensemble, production aesthetics, and editing (by the renowned Sreekar Prasad) are all fine.

Dasvi makes every effort to captivate you but never appears to be steady in the attempts.
