In a shocking incident reported from Delhi, a mother reportedly slept next to her infant baby girl after she killed her. Later, the accused woman hid the baby in a microwave oven. The incident was reported from Malviya Nagar, Delhi. The infant’s parents were identified as Gulshan Kaushik and Dimple Kaushik, who were both taken into questioning after the infant’s deceased body was recovered from the microwave.
The hair-raising incident was brought to the police’s attention earlier on Monday when it received a PRC alert on 4:40pm. The police were initially alerted about the fact that the two-month-old infant was missing. When the police reached the residence of the infant’s couple, the family had already recovered the baby girl’s deceased body in a microwave from the second-floor of their residence.
According to a Times Now report, the mother of the deceased infant made her by by her side an entire night to make sure no one suspected the fact that the infant was dead. Till next day when the family didn’t hear or see the girl, they were alarmed. This was when the girl’s mother stuffed her own infant baby into the microwave.

Police Alerted About Missing Infant
In New Delhi’s Malviya Nagar, a 26-year-old mother of a son and an infant daughter was taken into questioning for allegedly murdering her infant daughter. Earlier on Monday, the Delhi Police received a call at around 4:30 about the missing baby girl. Before the police officers from the Malviya Nagar police station could reach the spot, the neighbours informed them that the girl’s deceased body was found stuffed in a microwave oven.
According to a Times Now report, the post-mortem report of the deceased infant stated that she had already passed away earlier on Sunday. However, the family told the police that the infant was last seen sleeping with her mother on their bed on Monday.
Mother Slept with Infant’s Deceased Corpse
By the evidences, another horrific detail of the crime emerged. The 26-year-old mother had reportedly slept with her deceased daughter’s corpse the in a way that no one suspected she was dead. However, on Monday, when the family didn’t hear or see her, the girl’s mother stuffed the baby inside the microwave to hide it.
Earlier on Monday, the family members heard the girl beating up her elder 4-year-old son. When the family members tried to intervene, the woman took the boy with her and locked him with herself in a room. Sensing something awry, a family member broke the door and found the woman lying unconscious in the room.

“Baby Stashed in Old Oven…”: Grandfather
This was when the family realized there was no hint of the young infant. When they tried interrogating the mother about the same, she chose not to speak about her infant daughter. An Indian Express report quoted the deceased baby’s grandfather saying, “We all searched nearby houses and lanes, checked tanks and rooms… After some time, a few boys went to the terrace and opened a room there. They found the baby’s body stashed in an old oven… she was dead.”

Infant’s Mother Keeps Changing Statements
Reportedly, the police have so far not been able to find the reason as to why the woman committed the crime. The cops have also revealed how the girl’s mother is changing her statement constantly and is not sticking to a story. The infant’s parents have been identified as Dimple and Gulshan.
