Bollywood actress Dia Mirza and boyfriend Vaibhav Rekhi got hitched in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai on Monday. The former Miss Asia Pacific International took to social media and posted a few pictures from the festivities. Each of these pictures had a caption that said, “Love is a full-circle that we call home. And what a miracle it is to hear its knock, open the door and be found by it. Sharing this moment of completion and joy with you..my extended family. May all puzzles find their missing pieces, may all hearts heal and may the miracle of love continue to unfold all around us.”
The couple exchanged vows and said “I do” in the garden area of Dia’s own Bandra residence. The wedding ceremony was a closely-guarded affair with only immediate family and close friends that included actress Aditi Rao Hydari and Jackky Bhagnani attended.
Dia was wrapped in a beautiful red saree with intricate golden embroidery and thick golden borders. During the wedding ceremony, she also pinned a dupatta on her head according to traditions. She accessorized this with a grand gold choker necklace. The groom looked equally dapper and chose to keep it simple and classy by wearing a white kurta-pajama with a beige turban.

The photo of Rehnna Hai Terre Dil Mein actress was first shared by Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani who seems to be in the Dia-Vaibhav close circle. The pictures showed the couple posing with friends and family and with the picture a caption was written which said “Welcome to the crazy family Dia. We love you.”
The newly-weds have been largely hush-hush about their relationship and their wedding functions but friends from Bollywood and the business world are playing the part of paparazzi and giving us all a sneak-peek into festivities. Before Vaibhav, Dia was married to her business-partner, Sahil Sangha. The couple got married in 2014 but decided to call it splitsville in August 2019. The Thappad actress is lauded for her involvement in social and environmental issues.
Meanwhile, the lucky groom Vaibhav Rekhi is a businessman who works for the Piramal group as a partner. He is an MBA from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, and an undergraduate from the prestigious Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.
