Uttar Pradesh’s CM Yogi Adityanath took social media and announced that Ayodhya Deepotsav enters the Guinness World Record for the exhibition of 9 lakh earthen lamps at the banks of river Saryu to mark the auspicious festival.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, BJP state President Swatantra Dev Singh and many other ministers were also gathered at Ayodhya, in addition to Union Minister Reddy. Ambassadors from Trinidad & Tobago, Vietnam, and Kenya were also present.

Diwali is said to be one of the most prominent festivals in Ayodhya as it celebrates Lord Rama’s 14-year homecoming to his birthplace. On November 3, the Uttar Pradesh government’s Tourism Department lighted nine lakh earthen lamps to celebrate Lord Shri Ram’s Janmbhoomi Ayodhya, establishing a world record. On the festival of Deepotsav, myriad oil lamps, laser exhibitions, and fireworks were lighted at Ram Ki Pauri in Ayodhya, creating a spectacular portrayal.
Apart from these, the Ram Lila will be staged by an artistic group from Sri Lanka, and a variety of literary and cultural events will be conducted from November 1 to 5, as per the state administration.

The banks of Mother Saryu have sprung to life with magical lights in Shri Ayodhya’s holy place. “A Guinness record for illuminating the most number of lamps amid Vedic chants has been achieved in the spirit of truth, compassion, and global welfare. This record is the result of Lord Shri Ram’s devotees’ trust and devotion.” Yogi Adityanath posted a tweet.

He stated that the government is attempting to establish 500 pilgrimage sites and temples in the state, notably Ram Janmabhoomi and Kashi Vishwanath, of which 300 have been constructed and another 200 are under construction.

Ayodhya Will Be the Greatest Religious Tourism City by 2030: G Kishan Reddy
Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister for Tourism and Culture, who was also there, remarked that the lakhs of Diyas lit in Ayodhya today is not only a record but also a message to the entire world about Lord Ram’s majesty. According to him, Ayodhya would become the world’s greatest religious tourism city by 2030.
For the fifth Deepotsav event in Ayodhya, special security safety measures have been implemented as well. Every point and corner of the sacred city is patrolled by police. Barricades have been erected in several locations.

CM Yogi Adityanath Launched the Number of Projects Amounting Rs. 661 Cr
CM Yogi Adityanath said while his address at the Deepotsav, “This is Ayodhya’s fifth Deepotsav. Before five years, there had been no mention of Deepotsav in the city, but our government emerged and announced that if we want to build “Ram Rajya,” we must hold celebrations like this.”
Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, also graced the event and launched and laid the foundation stone for a number of projects amounting to Rs 661 crore.
