Recently a cute exchange between Bollywood actor Salman Khan and Nikhat Zareen is melting hearts online. For the unversed, the 25-year-old recently became the fifth ever Indian woman to win a gold medal at the boxing world championship. On May 20th, she clinched the gold at the Women’s Boxing World Championships, that was held in Istanbul, Turkey. She outplayed Tokyo’s Jutamas Jitpong to etch history.

Following her historic feat, Nikhat earned plaudits from Indian sportspersons, celebrities and politicians. For a few hours, her name was on the list of ‘Trends’ on Twitter. Another interesting thing to have emerged out of the victory was her appreciation for Salman Khan.

Speaking to media, she was quoted saying, “Logo ka bhai hoga, woh toh meri jaan hai. Salman, I am his huge fan. It’s my dream to meet him. My dream is to first win the Olympic medal and then go directly to Mumbai and meet Salman Khan.”

The same day, Salman Khan congratulated Nikhat and tweeted, “Congratzz on this gold Nikhat … @nikhat_zareen.” What followed was a cute exchange that is melting hearts online. In another interview to popular news outlet, Nikhat mentioned that she would like Alia Bhatt to play her in her biopic.
