During his tenure as a PM, he worked for the betterment of all sections of the society and played a significant role in solving controversial problems of the country.

He gave the slogan ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan’ which inspired the country a lot. The Slogan translates to ‘Hail Farmer, Hail Soldier’. He told that we can eat food daily because the Kisan (Farmer) grows it. And we can eat food ‘peacefully’ because Jawan (Soldiers) are on the lines/borders, protecting the nation. His thought was impressive and are praised by the whole nation, to date.
