The cage fight between Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg will take place at the Colosseum in Italy. Musk gave this information by posting on social media on Friday.

Musk said in his post on X, ‘The fight will be managed by my and Zak’s (Zuckerberg) foundation companies, (not UFC). Its livestream will be on this platform (X) and Meta (i.e. Facebook and Instagram)’.

He further said, ‘Everything in the camera frame will be like ancient Rome, so nothing will be modern. I spoke to the Prime Minister of Italy and the Minister of Culture. They have agreed on a historic place’.

Fight in 2000 Years Old Coliseum

Italian Culture Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano extended an invitation to Zuckerberg to hold the fight in Italy’s iconic Colosseum, a proposal that Elon Musk had mentioned in his X post as a potential location. The Colosseum, a revered ancient monument, is over 2000 years old and considered one of the seven wonders of the world. Originally, the fight was planned to take place in the Vegas Octagon in the United States.

In a prior tweet, Musk disclosed his intention to allocate all the proceeds from the fight to charitable organizations that support veterans.
