Any engineering aspirant would know that AIEEE was once upon a time, one of the most challenging engineering entrance exams. He later went on to pursue mechanical engineering, but parted ways to pursue his calling – acting.

Earlier, he had also played the character of Jitendra Kumar, a senior developer in another cult classic web show Pitchers.

However, little do many know that Jitendra studied civil engineering in the prestigious and highly coveted Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. At the mecca of Indian enginners, he was pushed by his college senior to perform an ad-lib, and the rest is, as they say, history.

The ‘Thappad’ actress needs no introduction to anyone who lives over the rock as her work speaks volumes for itself. Known for her brave movie choices, and her strong opinions, Taapse is also a proud engineer.

The actress holds a computer science degree from the Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology, New Delhi. A perfect example of beauty with brains, she also revealed once that she developed a mobile application with her friends. Speaking to News18, she said that her app – FontSwap – let users change the font in iPhone.

She further claimed that she started her modeling career after her engineering and also ended up rejecting a job at multinational IT company Infosys.
