Comedian & Youtuber Bhuvan Bam mourned the loss of his parents to COVID-19 in an emotional note and said how ‘everything has fallen apart’. The YouTube sensation is credited to have started the new wave of vloggers and comedians on YouTube. He regularly posts short comedy videos on his channel ‘BB Ki Vines’ and is the first Indian content creator that crossed 10 million YouTube subscribers.

YouTube content creator Bhuvan Bam was dealt the toughest cards by the universe in the form of taking away both his parents in just one month. Both his parents were tested positive for COVID-19 and died due to the same. The COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc in people’s lives and people from all sects of the society are dealing with losses.

According to statement issued by Bhuvan’s team, his father, Mr. Avnindra Bam died on May 11 and his mother, Mrs. Padma Bam died on June 10. Taking to Instagram, Bhuvan posted a set of pictures in which his parents can be seen in various stages of their lives. Along with the picture, Bhuvan also penned a heartfelt note in the caption and wrote-
Lost both my lifelines to covid. Aai aur Baba ke bina kuch bhi pehle jaisa nahi rahega. Ek mahine mein sab bikhar chuka hai. Ghar, sapne, sab kuch. (Without aai and baba nothing will ever be the same. In just one month, everything has fallen apart. Home, dreams, everything)”
He further wrote, “Meri aai mere pass nahi hai, baba mere saath nahi hain. Ab shuru se jeena seekhna padega. Mann nahi kar raha (My aai is not near me, my baba is not with me. Now I’ll have to learn to live from the beginning but don’t want that).
“Was I a good son? Did I do enough to save them? I’ll have to live with these questions forever. Can’t wait to see them again. I wish the day comes soon,” Bhuvan concluded.

On the post and heartfelt note Bhuvan posted, people from YouTube, Comedy & Influencing community came forward and shared their condolence.
Actor and National Film Award receipient Rajkummar Rao wrote-
“I’m so sorry for your loss bhai. You’ve done a lot. I’ve seen it first hand. We did whatever we could but nobody can change what’s written in the destiny. Being someone who has lost both his parents, I can tell you they will never leave you, their blessing will always be with you. May god give you strength bhai. I’m always there.”
Comedian, YouTuber & writer Tanmay Bhatt wrote, “I love you Bhuvan. Hugs.”
Ashish Chanchlani, another YouTube sensation expressed his shock and wrote-
“Shocked and devastated. Hum sab tere saath hai bhai, hamesha rahenge. Nobody can be at your place. Nobody can know the pain you are going through. They loved you so much bhuvan, main aur meri puri family ke prayers unke saath hai. Om shanti.”
