East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, Police in Andhra Pradesh retrieved a family on Wednesday who had been isolated to a tent shelter in Andhra Pradesh’s Kadali village for nearly 15 months owing to the terror of developing COVID-19.
“We determined from village activists that three ladies are residing in a single room due to COVID-19 anxieties, and the father is the odd one who tends to leave the house”,
-stated police official Krishmachari.
Individuals are John Benny (50), Ruthamma (45), and their two daughters, Kanthamani (30) and Rani (32). They are getting examined at a government hospital presently.
Three members of an Andhra Pradesh household had locked themselves apart from the surrounding world for 15 months due to COVID-19 anxieties after mourning the death of a neighbour. The mother and two girls hadn’t left the house in 15 months, and it was just the father, who had gone out to get basic needs.

Village Activists from Nearby Village Encountered That Family
The case was brought to the surface when a village activist visited to retrieve their thumbprint for a government plan that would permit them to get a residential plot. Village activists from Razole’s Kadali village encountered that the family had not chosen to leave their home in months. They were surviving in a confined room and had plunged into gloom. When the Sarpanch approached them, the family was reluctant to get out, asserting that they might die if they did. The activist briefed the local Sarpanch and everyone else concerning the circumstances.

What Village Sarpanch had to Say
As per Gurunath (Village Sarpanch)-
“that the family probably not have endured longer than a few days because their situation was terrible. The family is camping within the little shelter and they even responded to nature calls inside the little shelter”.
Through the intervention of villagers and the police, we were managed to evacuate them to health facilities.
Gurunath stated, the villager promptly contacted the police and straight after, Rajole Sub Inspector Krishnamachari and his personnel showed up to liberate the family.
Gurunath further added-
“that the family was in awful conditions with their hair grown out without upkeep and a shortage of baths”.
They are being examined at a government hospital presently.

Andhra Pradesh’s Longstanding COVID-19 Curfew
Anil Kumar Singhal, principal secretary (Health) stated-
“The state government on Wednesday sustained the longstanding Covid-19 curfew from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. every day until July 30. The verdict to prolong the curfew was adopted after a careful evaluation of the Covid-19 scenario and kept in consideration the reduction in the incidence of positive cases.”
Andhra Pradesh has observed 1,946,749 infections and 13,197 casualties as an outcome of the Covid-19 infection. The state noted 2,527 new infections 2,412 recoveries, and 19 deceased on Wednesday. The number of active cases has increased modestly to 23,939, with a Covid-19 positive rate of 8.2 percent.
