Recently, actor Prakash Raj shared a post on social media mocking the Chandrayaan 3 mission. Following this, a FIR has been filed against him at a police station in the district of Bagalkot in Karnataka.

This FIR against Prakash has been registered by the leaders of a Hindu organization. The members of the organization have demanded appropriate action against Prakash.

The veteran actor shared a photo on the microblogging site X on a Sunday. In this caricature, a man wearing a lungi and a shirt was pouring tea. While sharing it, Prakash wrote, ‘The first photo from Chandrayaan has surfaced… #VikramLander #justasking’.

After sharing this post, when users began to troll the actor, Prakash defended himself through two tweets.

He said, “Only hate can perceive hate”. Prakash, while sharing his first tweet wrote, “Hate can only see hate. I was referring to a joke from Armstrong’s era. I was celebrating my tea-seller from Kerala… But which tea-seller did the trolls see? If you don’t understand a joke, the joke is on you… Grow up…”

In another tweet, the actor wrote, ‘For those who only know of a tea vendor, I am proudly sharing the story of our Malayali tea vendor, who has been inspiring us since the 1960s. If you want to be educated, please read it.’

Along with this post, Prakash Raj also shared the story of Neil Armstrong and the Malayali tea vendor.
