In a ‘from enemies to lovebirds’ incident, a woman in Utah recently married her high school bully after ‘hating’ him as a teenager. From calling her mean names, to sharing rather nasty stuff about her online, the high-school bully did all the stereotypical bully acts. However, the now 20-year-old woman has kept things in past, and has forgiven her bully. She also took once step further, and decided to the the knot with him.

“It’s funny that I can call him my high school bully and high school sweetheart. It’s funny that I can call him my high school bully and high school sweetheart. But I got a soft spot for him when he reached out after my accident. We ended up developing feelings for each other. People say they would never have forgiven him, but I can’t base his personality off who he was for three months when he was 16,” Lauren was quoted saying.

When Lauren met with a car crash, her bully, and future partner, Lucas, expressed his car and adoration for her. The two developed a strong bond and started having feelings for each other. The couple also went on official double date and started their relationship in 2018.

The pinnacle of their relationship emerged in July 2022, when Lucas took Lauren to a mountain top, and proposed.

“Hated him…”

The couple fell in the same group in 2017 when they started going to high school. However, this time things didn’t go as smoothly for Lauren, who was regularly teased and bullied by Lucas. Lucas used to call Lauren mean names, and even shared some nasty stuff about her on Snapchat.

“At this point I hated him. I wanted nothing to do with him,” Lauren was quoted saying.

Accident Changes Things

However, things took another drastic turn when Lucas was a first-hand witness of Lauren’s car accident, which also involved her mother Jessica and sister Alyssa. While no one was seriously injured, Lauren was traumatised due to the accident.

This was the time when Lucas started to take care of Lauren, and express his affection for her one more time. “It showed he cared. It helped me like him again,” Lauren explained. Over the course of months, Lauren’s friends pushed her into giving Lucas another shot.
