An Australian teen was recently arrested for jumping over the counter of a McDonald’s and making herself burger while she ranted and threatened the staff of the popular fast-food chain. The incident was reported from Australia’s Adelaide and occurred earlier last week.
While it’s unclear what caused the teen to have such an outburst, she managed to make a TikTok video of her unruly behaviour, causing many netizens to speculate whether she created a ruckus for the viral video.
In the viral video, the teen, who has not been named, can be heard shouting, “I will beat you up or I will leave!”. The girl can be seen making her way into the cooking area after jumping over the counter, and shout at the shocked employees. The woman goes on to cook herself a burger, and walks back towards the counter. She then adds lettuce to her meal, and grabs a water from the cooler.
Her casual yet threatening way of making the burger ended up being her downfall. The woman, who could’ve de-escalated the situation by apologising, simply stayed behind the counter, and police who had emerged by then, ended up arresting her.
The teen was charged with disorderly conduct, assault, and property damage.
McDonald’s, the fast-food chain has been an epicenter of blowups, brawls and bad conduct in the past.
The Facts of the Matter
Disgruntled customers and passengers are often seen creating a ruckus or having an argument with the staff who often try to deescalate the matter. Earlier last month in December 2022, a passenger in IndiGo had a verbal spat with the airhostess, who ended up saying that she is not “his servant”. Meanwhile, in the same month, a man who wanted his wife to have refund for her beverage at Starbucks, ended up stealing $1 from the tip-jar, and was arrested for his action.
In yet another such incident, a teen in Australia was recently seen creating a ruckus at McDonalds. The teen went as far as jumping over the counter, and going to the cooking area where she made a burger for herself. The entire ordeal was also caught on a TikTok video, which has since been going viral.
“Will beat you up”
The TikTok video, which has been viewed over 70 thousand times so far, shows the 19-year-old teen hurling abuses at the staff, and heading into the cooking area of the fast-food chain. At one point in the video, the girl can be seen threatening the staff and shouting, “I will beat you up or I will leave!”.

The girl then continues on her expletive-laden tirade, shouts at staff, and makes herself a burger. Meanwhile, one of the staff members can be seen showing up to work, and not flinching even for a second as all hell breaks loose.

Getting Detained
The teen continues to unfold more chaos, helps her to a bottle of water, and even helping herself to a dessert at the McCafe. Her casual demeanor as she threatens other staff members becomes the cause of her downfall, as before she could leave the outlet, he was detained.
She was later arrested by the cops for disorderly behaviour, property damage and assault. She also threw bottles of water at staff and damaged one of the doors during her ranting.

TikTok Users Critical
Users on TikTok remained critical of the teen’s actions and called her out for creating a ruckus. “It’s really sad people have to go to work and deal with this stuff and most of them are probably teenagers,” a TikTok user said. “People need to pay for their actions,” wrote another user.
