On Monday evening, a concerning incident occurred in Gaur Homes Society at Kavinagar of Ghaziabad when a group of people were stuck inside an elevator in the Govindpuram building of the housing society. As reported by ANI, the occupants of the building selflessly stepped in and managed to rescue the citizens as the absence of a rescue crew exposed the failsafe measures taken by the society administration. This incident raised the questions about safety and emergency preparedness of such societies across country.
