A Ghaziabad-based woman hatched a ‘gang-rape’ story to get revenge on a man over a property dispute the city’s police claimed two days after an FIR was filed in the matter. The incident comes days after DCW chief Swati Maliwal took to Twitter and sought action on the gang-rape case where a woman was found on the roadside with an alleged object stuck in her private parts.
The case was as heinous as gang-rape cases emerge from various corners of the country. The woman was admitted at the GTB hospital after being found at roadside, and a 5-6 cm object stuck in her private parts was sent for analysis.
An investigation soon ensued in the serious alleged gang-rape case. The police traced the alleged victim’s associate and took the phone into technical analysis. The analysis showed shocking evidence of money being paid to the woman to concoct a false gang-rape story. The aide of the woman has a long criminal history, the cops claimed.
As per Meerut IG, Praveen Kumar, two of the suspects that came in the matter have two civil cases with the woman regarding a property dispute. When the woman’s aide was taken into a sustained questioning, he confessed.
A cop involved in the investigation was quoted saying, “The complaint was all a conspiracy hatched to file a rape case on the five men.”
The Facts of the Matter
While thousands of women get raped, and assaulted every year in India, there are times when some women hatch fake stories regarding being assaulted and raped to get revenge. Such cases increase a sense of distrust among people regarding the account of victims and the assault they may really be subjected to.
In one such incident, a Ghaziabad woman allegedly hatched a ‘gang-rape’ story to get revenge on men over a property dispute. The new startling revelation emerged just days after a woman in Ghaziabad was found on the road, and was reported to be gang-raped.

Woman’s Claims Inconsistent Since Beginning
The woman’s original allegations stated that she was abducted while waiting for a bus in Delhi after attending a birthday party in Ghaziabad. The woman claimed that her brother had dropped her off to a bus stand and five men abducted her in car, and repeatedly gang-raped her.
The woman’s claims have been inconsistent since the beginning of the case. Earlier she had claimed that two men had raped her instead of five.
