Amid all the doom and gloom that has surrounded the Indian cricket fans, Yuvraj Singh has made a shocking announcement of making a comeback in February. ‘God decides your destiny’, his bombshell announcement statement read as he went on to hint that he may take to pitch in February next year. It should be noted that there has been no revelation as to in what capacity Singh will take to the pitch. While reports of a complete comeback must be taken with a grain of salt, it should be noted that the Road Safety Tournament 2022 will be held in that particular time period. For the unversed, the Road Safety Tournament comprises of a series of exhibition matches where legendary players from across the globe make a comeback and play under one team.

Yuvraj Singh is more than a name, and arguably, more than just a cricket player. The name evokes memories and images that are mix of emotions and jubilance.

Who can forget the southpaw’s 6-sixes in an over against England at the inaugural T20 world cup, who can forget his tearful face after India won the ICC ODI World Cup in 2021, or who can forget his crucial inning of 69 runs at the NatWest series final in 2002.

Yuvraj Singh has been one of the most memorable Indian all-rounders in the cricketing history of the nation. And now, his fans would be able to see him groove on the field in February next year.
